Megan Jackson
Megan qualified in 2002 with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy. She initially gained experience in the different physiotherapy specialities whilst working as a junior physiotherapist in the NHS. In 2007 Megan was awarded an LLM in Medical Law from Cardiff University.
Megan now works exclusively as a Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist both at Redfern Osteopaths, and as the Clinical Director of Pelvix. She is fortunate to enjoy a good relationship with local GPs and consultants.
Megan believes that far too many people put up with troubling and distressing pelvic health issues that are often blamed on age or childbirth. This is often accompanied by a sense of isolation because many people don't feel they can open up to others about the difficulties they are experiencing.
It brings her great joy and satisfaction to help people gain an understanding and sense of control over their bodies.
Treatments provided by Megan are backed by clinical research and she is committed to an ongoing programme of continued professional development.
Megan is also a busy mum to four children but when she gets time, she enjoys road cycling, dog walking and cooking.
